about

Not an EP, not a full album, Stick Figures is the second "albumlet" by Lucas Will Johnson.

Like an album, an albumlet strives for its own sound and statement. But rather than spending the time on a full set of twelve(ish) songs, the briefer version allows more albumlets to follow, with different flavors, new concoctions, alternative approaches, and all at a quicker pace to allow for maximum stimulation of your ears.

There is no minimum price - you can download all of this music FO FREE!

Track Name: Do Something Unexpected
wake up
brush your teeth
get somethin to eat
drive down the street
button your shirt
get to work
day's over
eat dinner
brush your teeth
sleep and repeat
or instead
do something unexpected

(chorus)
write with your left - right - wrong! hand
discombobulate your plans
whatever you do instead,
do something unexpected

wear blue pants
give peace a chance
change the dial
sing along for a while
say hello
to someone you don't know
shoot a gun
try a new religion
narrate your day
in an epic way
just for one session -
change professions
explore somewhere you haven't been before
or some alternative activity...

OR STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO

buy something you don't want
sunbathe when you'd rather not
crawl all around the room
instead of "who" use "whom"

burn a banana
invent a word, melouminah
repeat what you said before
what you said before

chorus

and if you love someone
then every day
tell them in a new way

sing it - I love you
write it - I trust you
dance it - what a groove
bake it - here's some food
sing it - I love you
write it - I trust you
dance it - what a groove
bake it - here's some food
sing it - I love you
write it - I trust you
dance it - what a groove
bake it - here's some food
sing it - I love you
write it - I trust you
dance it - what a groove
bake it - here's some food
AAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

chorus

write with your left - right - wrong! hand
discombobulate your plans
whatever you do instead,
cricket, cricket
Track Name: 7 Billion Universes
7 billion universes
7 billion universes

the same name
the same hair
the same shoes
the same views

even if we're all identical
you can't sell your love
you can't trade your brain
cuz every one of us
is a universe

(chorus)
7 billion breathe
7 billion blink
7 billion ways
for a soul to think

I don't wear your shirt
I can't feel your hurt
my days are all my own
these years are all I've known
we might enjoy this planet together
but we live our lives alone

chorus

I could copy how you walk and talk
I could learn your skills and work to pay your bills
I could even go as far as surgery
but you'll still be you and I'll still be me

chorus

7 billion universes
7 billion universes

when we're full of fury
or full of love
and we let it spill
all over the place
it joins what people
are thinking of
and changes the universe
behind their face

chorus

it's not an abstract social ill
when people go hungry or fear getting killed
their entire existence lives that way
every every every every every every every day

chorus

chorus

7 billion universes
7 billion universes
Track Name: Fuck The STRAW Man
you say the man is holdin you down
or that the institution jerks you around
you think there's no benevolent authority
but only evil powers that be

that sounds like a sweeping claim
did you correctly assign blame?

how large is your sample size?
is it just what comes through your two eyes?
life will give you conclusions to draw
but often we see a man made out of straw

you say these kids are all just lazy
sittin around doin drugs like crazy
not a serious thought in their heads
they're leanin on their parents just to stay fed

that's a broad statement to make
is that a comprehensive take?

how large is your sample size?
is it just what comes through your two eyes?
life will give you conclusions to draw
but often we see a man made out of straw

how large is your sample size?
is it just what comes through your two eyes?
life will give you conclusions to draw
but often we see a man made out of straw
Track Name: The Great Zombie Switcheroo
(chorus)
It's over...
The zombies have won.
The very last one of the humans is gone...
Now The Great Zombie Switcheroo has begun.

People denied the virus at first,
"zombies are preposterous!"
But when your friends try to eat you,
too late, you're in for the worst.

In the end few people died,
the virus just was quite benign.
And zombies don't eat zombies,
which led to strange things worldwide.

First they had to find food,
like zombie-Bill-Gates, who up and moved.
Now he picks fruit all day
with other CEOs for little pay.

Meanwhile, a poor young waitress
was tired of working for less;
with other young zombies
soon ran the biggest companies!

chorus

Attendants started flying the planes;
fans soon played in games;
painters became the cooks;
poor kids began to write books;
bankers then became the priests;
(the ones that made it that far, at least);
and though they haven't grown,
zombie kids live on their own.

chorus

Zombie mandarin sounds like zombie english.
This added efficiency
to trade and diplomacy.

Former governments now are former memories.
But almost immediately,
new zombies built committees.

chorus
Now The Great Zombie Switcheroo has begun.
